2023 COMMERCIAL PERMIT RENEWALS
North Eastern IFCA would like to remind all commercial permit holders, your current permit will expire on the 31 December 2023. If you would like to renew your commercial permit, you need to do so by Monday 4th December to guarantee that you will receive your 2024 permit before the end of the year.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
We have a range of roles covering both land based and offshore operations including a dedicated environmental/scientific team. The skills and experience required to fulfil our posts are often transferrable from careers in the fishing industry, mechanics, engineering, and enforcement. An interest and working knowledge of fishing practices and boat handling experience can also be advantageous. We always strive to provide opportunities to individuals that feel they have the relevant skills and qualifications to work as part of our team.
We are actively seeking interest from individuals that have experience and expertise in offshore deck work and a working knowledge of fishing practices, marine diesels and ancillary equipment. If you feel you have the relevant skills, please submit your CV and a covering statement on how you feel you can assist in all operations to deliver the Authority’s functions in relation to the management and conservation of sea fisheries resources within our district.
