North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority is one of 10 authorities covering the English coast. Our primary statutory function is to manage the sustainable exploitation of sea fisheries resources. This is delivered through the monitoring of activities and enforcement of appropriate management measures including local and national regulations. Temporary Environmental & Scientific Officer (closed)
£30,151 for average 37 hours per week
This is a temporary contract offered initially for a fixed period of twelve months.
Based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, routine duties include supporting the Authority’s marine research and survey programmes, collating and analysing data and producing reports. The role also involves supporting operational activity throughout the Authority’s district both onshore and offshore.
