Limited Shellfish Permit

New Limited Shellfish (Hobby) Permit

Please use the link below to apply for a new Limited Shellfish (Hobby) Permit on the NEIFCA portal. You will need to create a log in which can then be used to access your permit at any time:

If you already have access to the portal and would like to apply for a Limited Shellfish Permit, please log in and select 'New Application' on your portal home page.

Renewing an existing permit 

From March 2024, we are using a brand new permitting system, if you do not have a 2024 permit, please use the button above and apply for a new permit. Please note, LSP numbers cannot be carried forward.

For renewals, you will need to use your existing log in for the portal to access your current permit.  

PLEASE NOTE, you can only renew your limited shellfish permit when the window for renewals is open.
