Limited Shellfish Permit

New Limited Shellfish (Hobby) Permit

Please use the link below to apply for a new Limited Shellfish (Hobby) Permit on the NEIFCA portal. You will need to create a log in which can then be used to access your permit at any time:

If you already have access to the portal and would like to apply for a Limited Shellfish Permit, please log in and select 'New Application' on your portal home page.

Renewing an existing permit 

2025 renewals are open on the portal. This is purely a digital renewal, no new tags or card will be sent. Your 2024 tags are valid as long as you have completed the digital renewal.

For renewals, you will need to use your existing log in for the portal to access your current permit.  

PLEASE NOTE, you can only renew your limited shellfish permit when the window for renewals is open.
