Commercial Shellfish Permit

Apply online for a new permit or to renew your commercial shellfish permit (external website).

Apply to North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority for a shellfish permit. Applications can be made using our online form or by post.

Please note, if you already hold a shellfish permit issued by North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority, you will automatically receive a notice of renewal inviting you to reapply for a permit for the following year.

Hobby Shellfish Permit

Apply online for a new permit or to renew your hobby shellfish permit (external website).

The Limited Shellfish Permit is for any individual, whether a vessel owner or not, who does not qualify for the criteria of a Shellfish Entitlement Holder Permit. This applies to unlicenced hobby fishermen, bait collection, shore gathering and recreational fishermen. Applications can be made using our online form or by post.

Trawl Permit

Apply online for a new permit or to renew your permit (external website)

Intertidal / Subtidal Sea Bass Permit

Applications open on 7 May 2013 for North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority's intertidal / subtidal sea bass permits.   Closing date is 28 June 2013.
