NEIFCA employs eighteen staff in a range of roles covering both land based and offshore operations including a dedicated environmental/scientific section. All operational activity is headed by the Chief Inshore Fisheries and Conservation (IFC) Officer supported by two Assistant Chief IFC Officers who have specific functions for the management of offshore and land based activities.
Specific functions relating to policy and procedure within the Authority are led and overseen by a Clerk and Deputy Clerk, appointed through NEIFCA’s lead Local Authority, East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Administrative and financial functions are also undertaken by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
